Challenge Overview

Description du challenge

In an ever-changing world, crisis are getting increasingly complex and effective management is becoming prevalent to ensure the utmost resolution performance. Consequently, the current needs are focused on obtaining functionalities to help plan the use of resources, taking into account operational constraints. To achieve this, we need to implement optimal processing of heterogeneous data through AI and Big Data-based approaches and employ immersive technologies to better position the different system actors. It involves setting up planning assistance algorithms, based on a common model shared between the civilian and military sectors. Therefore, the objectives of the challenge are to:

  • Carry out a simulation and management of complex crises
  • Use immersive technologies (augmented reality, multi-level/multi-view visualization, 3D, etc.) to place the various actors (sea, land, air, civil security, firefighters, ....) at the center of the system
  • Implement heterogeneous data fusion functionalities, risk prediction and assessment, Big Data processing
  • Enable supervision and dynamic management of resources

The target markets are: civil (civil security, border surveillance, maritime patrol, firefighters,...) and by extension the defence field.

Wanted

Expert in:

  • Big Data processing
  • Complex systems modeling
  • Risk prediction and forecasting

Experience in:

  • Developing tools for big data analytics, search and visualization
  • Prescriptive maintenance
  • Test and validation

Projects you could be working on

  • Implementing functionalities to help plan the use of resources, taking into account "operational" constraints
  • Plan actions with operator interactions: creation of algorithmic assistance plans (use of templates: action acceptance/refusal thresholds), generation of alternative plans (multi-hypothesis tree techniques), evaluation of plans (taking into account multiple criteria) then selection of the optimal plan
  • Allow visualization of parameterization and configuration elements, explicability and reporting
  • Enable quick updating following an update of the state of knowledge on the elements of the mission
